Many people said : the reality is that the real joy and peace come from the Lord (John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives..."). He was crucified for us, because of the love of GOD (=HIS unconditional grace).
Note: Peace (shalom in Hebrew) is not a feeling (feeling can come and go), it is a state or condition. If there is no peace in our heart, it means there is something wrong.

"Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7

"Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

Many people are questioning why Jesus has to die for us ? Can't GOD save us via other ways ?...There is a law since the beginning that the penalty of sin is dead, and all of us are sinners by nature (we know that)...and the penalty is dead. To be saved (= rescued), there has to be someone (who has no sin) who is ready to replace us, to die for us to pay the penalty. Jesus (He is 100% man and 100% God and has no sin) has paid the penalty, died for us. This shows us that we are very valuable in front of HIM, purchased with the blood. But this is our choice whether we choose to live or to die. If we choose to live we have to accept HIM as our Saviour to the bottom of our heart. Like an artist who can make rubbish into an artistic work, HE can make our messy life into something wonderful.
Salvation is found in no other names than the Name of JESUS (John 14:6).

How did Jesus die? because of shark attack, cancer or other diseases? NO.. ....whipped to cut the flesh....a crown of thorns was forced into His scalp....nailed to the cross....for all of us.....

Please remember: going to church will not make us saved, become a member of a church will not make us saved, reading the Bible will not make us saved. To be saved, we need to RESPONSE personally (this love of GOD / this free gift of salvation) by faith by believing in Jesus and accepting HIM to the bottom of our heart as our Saviour personally (born again). It is a Grace (=undeserved favour).

Why do we have to accept?
An example: we are guilty of killing somebody, and we go to prison. Then Jesus offers us that we may go free, and HE will be in prison for us. If we do not accept HIS offer, HE will not do it for us. This is just a logic. In this case, we are guilty of sin (big or small is the same) and we have to die. Jesus offers us that we may go free (live) and HE will die for us. Would we accept this offer? If we do not accept this offer, HE will not do it for us.

If we are saved by grace, will it mean we can do the sins as much as we want?
If we have right (genuine) believing, we will have no desire to do the sins on purpose, although we are still not perfect. The Holy Spirit will change our heart. Roman 6:14 says: For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

We are forgiven not because we love HIM, but because HE loves us. The thing is whether we would like to accept or not...after we accept, then loving HIM and also serving HIM are our responses...

With HIS Resurrection, HE has completed the winning over Devil, Sin and Death.
John 14:12-14 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Sometimes we still live on Good Friday not on Resurrection Sunday...

...want proof that Jesus really died and rose again?...Let us look at Peter, the disciple of Jesus and also the first Pope of Catholic Church, but Peter was married (see Matthew 8:14)...around AD67, Peter martyred, crucified upside down in Rome for Jesus (this is a history fact). If Peter as a disciple of Jesus did not witness with his own eyes that Jesus died and lived again, Peter would not want to be crucified upside down for Jesus, he would be back fishing again. Fishing was his former job.

The incident in The Bible that we most associate with Thomas(another disciple of Jesus), and has earned him the moniker 'Thomas the Doubter', was his response to the news that Jesus had risen from the dead. In John 20:25 Thomas is supposed to have said: "I will never believe it without probing the nailprints in his hands, without putting my finger in the nailmarks and my hand into his side." South Indian legends indicate that Thomas arrived on the Malabar coast around AD49 and in the Rabban Song, which has been handed down orally by Indian Christians over the generations, we learn more details about Thomas' work in India. The song indicates that, after arriving in South India, he went to preach in other countries and on his return in AD52 he began to build churches and convert the local population. According to the Indian traditions, Thomas died of stab wounds on July 3 AD72, after being attacked by the Brahmin priests of Mylapore who feared that the Christian faith would eclipse Hinduism. These Christians have no written records of the incidents of their social life from the time of their conversion down to the arrival of the Portuguese on the coast, just as India had no history until the arrival of Muslims.

Another proof is: we can see HIS works in this world until now, many people have been healed in Jesus Name, many people's lives have been changed when accepting Jesus as their Saviour etc etc....because HE IS ALIVE...

The best thing to prove is to experience the Living Christ ourself in our life, accept HIM as our Saviour to the bottom of our heart...
The thing is, if Jesus did not die and rise again, there will be no Christians.

"When we know Christ we are rich—not necessarily with this world’s goods, but with spiritual riches! Think of it a moment. Can anything this world offers be greater than God’s forgiveness? Can anything be greater than Christ’s presence with us every day? Can anything be greater than the privilege of prayer, or being part of Christ’s family, or being used to bless others? "Thank God every day for His blessings, and make it our goal to put Christ first in our lives. Most of all, thank Him that when we know Christ, we have “an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade ... kept in heaven for us” (1 Peter 1:4)."(source: Billy Graham)

There are a lot of happy and nice and kind-hearted (also on the road when other drivers do the wrong thing) and generous and helpful (good Samaritans) and 'can respect others whatever the positions are' and 'not arrogant' non-Christians in this world. Why is that? Because they have unconsciously followed the Biblical principles (for example: a Chinese proverb: "Give one drip of water and a lake of water will be given to you.", isn't this a Biblical principle?!). However, they don't have the grace of salvation, they don't have the heavenly peace the Lord Jesus has given to HIS people, they don't have other blessings the Christian people have enjoyed.

The world keeps changing, but. . . .Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrew 13:8)...there are a lot of proofs . . . .

Believe or not, Miracle does happen...Mark 9:23 "...all things are possible to him who believes." (God is the God of the impossible. If in our plan there are no 'something impossible', it means God is not our partner).

1 Corinthians 1:27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

If you are interested to know more about these things, you may visit a BIBLE based church near your home, you will find a lot of mature Christian there and they can tell you how their life has been changed into a supernatural life by Christ crucified. When we go to church, let us not look at the Pastors and Leaders, we will be disappointed, they are not perfect, look for the Lord (His Presence), HE will never ever disappoint us. A friend said: if people are working for church organisation (paid), most likely (not all) they will feel obligated to serve. Volunteers will not feel obligated to serve.

Please note: the Bible is NOT to be debated, but to be read, meditated, understood and implemented.
Christianity is about salvation by grace. If you still doubt about this, it means your eyes are still not opened, like a new born chick in the egg where the shell membrane of the egg has not broken, the chick still can not see that there is a light outside the shell membrane until the shell membrane is broken. Full stop, end of story.
Somebody (she was a Muslim) said: I am sad if asked about Bible verses, because I have never been in the Bible College. But ...honest....since I started my faith in Jesus, I have been able to feel(experience) His love and blessings in the journey of my life.....

Many people come to church and simply listen to the words of a sermon. This word has been referred to as logos. Although there is truth in logos, it is rhema that brings the faith that sparks us to fruitful action(BREAKTHROUGH), that gives the faith needed for healing. When we read the Bible we are reading logos. After we meditate on the Word, some portion or portions of Scripture will seem to stand out to us. As the Holy Spirit stirs our heart, logos turns into rhema, and becomes a specific word to us in a specific situation. The Rhema of God's Word will spur us to active belief, those portions of Scripture move our heart. Then, and only then, can we experience a miracle.
We may go to church and listen to the same sermons again and again, yet not experience anything. If we have the ultimate miracle of salvation, wait upon the Lord and seek after God. Let our life be a living sacrifice to God, filled with submission to the unfolding of God's purposes. Become one of the patient and persistent. One day God's Word will become like stirred holy water to our heart, logos will become a specific rhema, and we almost feel as if we can move the earth. Rhema=a specific word to a specific person in a specific situation. (source: Yonggi Cho - 1980)

It is not wrong to be rich, but Mark 8 : 36 says "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul ?"

Be a faithful believer...Jesus said in Matthew 24 :13..."but he who stands firm to the end will be saved"
2Cor4:8-9 "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."
The Christian life is not without challenging problems, but it has unlimited resources at its disposal.

"Do not take revenge, ...."It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord (Roman 12:19)

Mat 5:44 But I tell you: Love your enemies.....46If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collector doing that?, ..then will we agree that..we hate = we are a loser?...The reality is .. to hate our enemy is much much much much easier than to love or to forgive our enemy..and it is understood it takes strength to forgive (The Lord can give this strength)....to forgive = to forget the offense and release the offender + never speak of the matter again, also it does not mean the other person is right...

1 John 2: 9 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness.

What are we worrying about?
Psalm 37:25 I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.
Matthew 6:25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Matthew 8:23 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” 26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

Note: please read 1 Peter 2:24 and Matthew 6: 25 - 33
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
The original word of righteousness in 1 Peter 2:24 and Matthew 6: 33 is the same = dikaiosune¯ (greek word).
Then see Psalm 37:25 above, the word righteous is the adjective of righteousness.

So, it means it depends on how we seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness and become a righteous person, then God will look after us miraculously. Let us think about it.

Proverbs 24:16 For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, . . . .
Psalm 34:19 The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.......the original word of righteous in Proverbs 24:16, Psalm 34:19 and Psalm 37:25 is the same = tsaddiyq (hebrew word).

In real life, a blessing in disguise often happens to us.

Many people say: life is unpredictable. As Believers, other than using the wisdom God has given to us, we need to walk by faith for something uncertain. We have to believe that God will arrange and everything will be fine.

After we continue to knock the door, sometimes we have to wait . . . . it is a matter of time for our God to open the door.

"Keep this Book of the Law always on your mouth; meditate (ODB: the Hebrew word for meditate means to "digest over and over again like a cow who chews its cud") on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be PROSPEROUS and SUCCESSFUL. Joshua 1:8

Want to try this?: when we sing in church, let us sing with all our heart, with all our mind, with all our soul, with all our strength, and forget everything, no distractions, full concentration, and see what happens . . . .

In Summary:

1. We were born as a sinner, and the penalty of sin is dead . . . .

2. Let us choose life, . . repent. Decide to accept Jesus as our Saviour by believing in HIM, and no turning back.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Luke 10:20
.....rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

3. Let us start learning the truth by experience in our journey as a Christian until we become mature. Our journey with Jesus is a matter of trust...see this too: Psalm 118:8 ...

John 18:37
“You are a king, then!” said Pilate.
Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”

John 18:38
What is truth? Pilate asked. With this he went out again to the Jews and said, “I find no basis for a charge against him.

John 8:31-32
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know (=ginosko in greek = know by experience/learning) the truth, and the truth will set you free.

Another example of ginosko: John. 14:9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know (=ginosko) me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, `Show us the Father’?

4. Let us start telling others about Jesus with a smile.

The Great Commission
Matthew 28:18-20
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Then, along the way, as a Christian, we should be able to say: Hitherto (up to this point, until now) the Lord has helped us.

1 Samuel 7:12
Then Samuel took a stone and set it between Mizpah and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer [that is, The stone of help], saying, “Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.”

5. At the end of the day, we will see HIM face to face alone . . . . .
